We celebrated V-day yesterday to avoid the crowds. Originally we were going to go to breakfast this morning, but Aaron got a coupon for buy and entree get and entree free at TGI Friday's so we went yesterday for lunch instead. That place would have been pricey without the coupon! I had chicken and shrimp and Aaron had fajitas. We came back home for a little while and then walked down to Chick FilA to get the free snack they were giving away. Turned out to be brownies. Yum! Then we went and got Aaron a haircut. He has been needing one for weeks. Then in the evening we went to Pride and Prejudice at the Greater Lewisville Community Theatre. We both really enjoyed it. It was opening night so there were a few rough spots but all in all they did a good job. The people who played Mr. and Mrs. Bennett were especially entertaining. They did a really good job. Going to plays is not something we often do, so it is kind of funny that that was the first of two plays we'll attend this month. At the end of the month we are going to see my cousin (in-law) in AIDA. It is a musical based on the music of Elton John (I think). Anyway, it was a very fun and relaxing day.
A couple of days ago I notice a daffodil blooming in our flower bed. I forgot I planted those last year. It was a nice surprise to say that spring is coming.
No more word really on the hospital situation. Dr. Cruetzmann called me on Wed. to say that he had talked to Dr. Alberts and he was okay with Plano Presbyterian but that they were still waiting to hear back from the neo-natologist there. So we are still in limbo. I am trying not to worry too much about decisions we'll have to make until we find out if the neo-natologist is okay with us going there. If she is not then I won't have a choice to make.
Happy Valentines Day to everyone!
