Bluebonnets, Bluebonnet Fest, and Bluebonnet Trails

We had some fun with the bluebonnets last week. On Sunday afternoon we went down toward DBU and took some pictures of the girls in the bulebonnets on the side of the road. The pictures always look so nature-y and beautiful and peaceful. You'd never know we were yelling at each other at the top of our lungs just to be heard above the passing traffic noise on the highway. I got some great pictures. I don't have any of the edits posted here but, after editing, I had about half a dozen that turned out really nice. After the picture session we went to DBU and had a picnic. It really was nice and peaceful there. The girls enjoyed watching the ducks in the pond and playing with gravel. Maddy recreated a picture of Aaron and I on the DBU bridge. So cute! This past Saturday we went down to Ennis, TX for the Bluebonnet Trails Festival. They had a craft fair, activities and food vendors downtown. Maddy got to do a pony ride. She gave up her May allowance to do the pony ride a

Easter and Maddy's birthday

Well, Aaron bought me a computer so maybe I will start blogging more. That was a very difficult activity to do on my phone. The month of March had lots of birthdays and fun. The Bavors came to visit us on their spring break. We went to the Grapevine aquarium, Rainforest Cafe, and Great Wolf Lodge. The kids had so much fun.  We did a big birthday party for Maddy this year. She wanted to invite lots of school friends. She chose to have her party at Jump Mania. The kids got high on sugar and jumped for hours. Granna and Grandad, Tammy, Rachel, Dr. Rachel, Cindy and kids, and the Bavors were there in addition to some of her school friends. Aaron got her the Rainbow Dash dress. I think it was probably her favorite gift. She wears it every time it's clean. Can't believe I have a seven year old! Shortly after her birthday she lost her second tooth so she is kind of gap toothed right now. The dentist said her top teeth are loose as well.
