Legoland!

This week Aaron's sister, Amber, and her two boys came to visit. Theyben is really into legos so we decided to take the kids to Legoland on Friday. We had never been before and I really didn't know much about it. It was OK. It was perfect for our kids and their ages but some of the rides were broken  or partially broken so that was annoying to me. Also, the waterpark part of it which was kind of like a big splash pad/playground was not open because of the season. Also it took them like 20 minutes to get our tickets printed so we could get into the center. The kids really did love it though and Maddy seems to be into legos too now, which would be great. We'll see if it sticks.  As we entered Legoland, the kids got to help "make" lego bricks. Maddy's job was to spin a wheel that "ran" the machine. She took her job super seriously. She was told to turn the wheel as fast as she could so she did. She didn't hear the lady say she could stop

Back in Feb we went to the Sherlock Holmes exhibit and got talked into a museum membership. They counted our admission on that visit toward the membership so it was hard to pass up. Anyway, all that to say that we got to do this exhibit on a member only preview day and it was awesome!!! Hardly anyone was in the exhibit and the kids actually got to look at everything and interact with the exhibits as long as they wanted. The exhibit was about bioluminescense so it was very dark except for the glow in the dark stuff. The exhibit covered bioluminescence, florescence, and phosphorescence. The kids loved it. I was k
