News from Aaron. I was not expecting anymore but the hotel he is staying at tonight and tomorrow night apparently has internet. The world wide web truly is world wide I guess:
Church was great....made Glenn's sermon look short :-) I was really impressed with the message though. We then went to a Havilla, which is an orphanage in Nairobi, Kenya. It was amazing!! One couple had a vision to help kids without parents...they now have 48!!!!!!! It was wild, but very very good kids. They sang for us and everything. We then broke up and each took a few and just talked. that was really neat. http://www.410bridge.org/change-kenya/where-we-serve/havilla/
I bought Maddy a Hippo today...probably paid to much but I think it is cool....it is a wood carving. I also got some salad tongs and a neat wall hanging that is like the masks but has animals instead of a human face. I did bargain it all down pretty well. They started at 16500 and we ended at 4500 shilling, which is about 60 bucks.
If I get a chance to send pictures I will.
Maddy slept bad again last night so I feel like a wraith today. We went to church and then went down to Rachel's to hang out with Brandon, Amanda, and kids. Maddy had a great time playing with Mikali and Daniel. Last night they came up here and we went out to eat. Tomorrow we might go to the Ft. Worth zoo. We were thinking about going to the aquarium today, but after Brandon did his research and found out how expensive that was, that trip got nixed. It really is ridiculous what they charge to go there. Not sure what is on the agenda for tonight. Hopefully sleep! But I might also try to mow a little bit and at least prep the living room wall for painting. I am not worth much so I may not get much accomplished. Anyway, just thought you all would enjoy hearing a bit from Aaron. Here are pics of the grounds around the first hotel they stayed at:
I have no idea why these are upside down and I can't get the to go rightside up. They are right on the computer. Weird.
I get to send you an email again....not via wifi though so I can't send a pic. We are staying in a hotel called Panaroma Hotel in Naivasha, Kenya. It is a beutiful hotel with an amazing view of Rift Valley....I actually feel bad b/c it is so nice. We are here tonight and tomorrow night.
